I’ve come a long way since I first started ragging on “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.” I don’t know that I even consider it a sheepishness-inducing “guilty pleasure” any longer. Somehow, especially this season, it has surmounted its luridness and become something resonant.

This season’s batch of rehabbing “celebs” has been the most unwilling, strident, unrecovering mob yet (and, I admit with requisite remaining sheepishness, I have watched all seasons). (more…)

Some horrifying, inexplicable something happened, and the whole database containing all the illustriousness you’ve come to know and tolerate was deleted. Thank God and my hosting service for backups, cuz here it is, reborn or whatever.

Dunno how it happened, don’t wanna dwell on the ramifications, don’t tell me not to live just sit and flutter. Bottom line, it’s a new day…and I’ve opened the feedback options back up (at least until the spambots start getting too prolific again), and comments can be left without registration or your first born child. Hallelu.

I haven’t been leaving a lot of posts lately, so I expected there wouldn’t be a lot of feedback. But I did just notice that I had adjusted the security setting a while ago (after getting a lot of spam) — and the setting were such that NOBODY could leave any feedback.

So that’s fixed now. You have to register…but at least now you CAN register. Sorry that there’s one more step than there used to be, but at least now none of us have to read about penile enhancement in the feedback section. Well…we don’t have to read about it when it’s from a spambot. <impish grin>
